In May 2012, photographer Morris Weintraub and Stephanie Fellows set out to walk 200 miles down the western border of Rwanda, delivering personal letters to people encountered along the way. These letters are the basis for a series of interviews and photographs compiled in the RwandaWalk book.

RwandaWalk was a month long exercise in trust and Rwandans proved to be worthy of every step. Gracious, generous, warm, humble and honest, they took us in, fed us and shared their lives with us. I am truly thankful to all the wonderful Rwandans we met along the way and to you, as well, for supporting this project and thereby contributing to the prosperity of Rwanda.

It's hard to image anything that has affected me more as a person than my time in Rwanda. The stories that were shared with us and the wisdom imparted live with me everyday on the Central Coast of California. I consider myself privileged to pass on these experiences to those around me and hope that they will impact you in the same way.
