Help Build A Library
The Sunzu Village Library is almost complete but needs your help! Funds for the interior walls, desks, bookshelves and windows are needed. The library was designed by students from Cal Poly State University working with Journeyman International and is being built by a local team of skilled craftsman.
With the proceeds from the RwandaWalk exhibition in 2013, the Sunzu Village Women's Co-op was completed in the winter of 2014. Once again we are focusing our energy on empowering this small village by supporting the construction of a library that will serve as a multi-functional space inviting children, women and men to enjoy the indoor and outdoor spaces.
This project is the brainchild of Dan and Francis Klinck, the driving force behind the library, who live on-site and continue to serve the Sunzu community daily.
